PARENT PROGRAM is a free and voluntary home-based family support program offered to parents of children birth through 8.

PARENT PROGRAM promotes positive family functioning and supports the healthy growth and development of young children and their families. By developing a plan with you to best meet your family’s needs your Family Support Worker will give you emotional support around parenting young children, help you learn about child development and parenting, and help you help your child develop socially and emotionally. She can also offer you information about community resources that are available in the area and link you to people who can help you with services you may need. Periodic Screenings assess your child’s overall growth and development, health, hearing and vision.

Your Family Support Worker will work with you and your child in a Family Focus Early Learning Center if they are enrolled in the center. Your Family Support Worker will work out a schedule to meet with you on a regular basis according to your needs.
