Family Focus operates before and after School Age Programs for children attending school in the MSAD #75 School District, the Brunswick School District, and the West Bath School in RSU1. Children must be enrolled in the school in order to attend the School Age Program.

Children are offered opportunities to learn and explore in a less structured environment than they experience during the school day. A variety of materials is provided and group and individual activities offer children the chance to be alone or with friends – while still carefully supervised.

Daily outdoor exercise except in the most inclement weather supports gross motor development and provides a chance to burn off pent up energy.

Healthy snacks, following USDA guidelines are provided before school and in the afternoons. Snack time after school also offers a chance to catch up and talk about the day.

The School Age Care Program operates on the school calendars with care provided on ½ and full workshop days, and the February and April vacation Weeks (fees vary). Summer vacation care is offered at a central location for MSAD 75 and at Hawthorne School if enough children are enrolled.
